Founded by entrepreneur and activist Marc Munier, Ditch Carbon is a climatetech venture that powers companies towards net zero.
Marc realised that, despite their best intentions, most organisations can't afford an external carbon specialist, let alone an in-house sustainability team.
Working with a team of climate scientists and government-approved methodologies, the team have developed an algorithm that calculates carbon emissions using the data from accounting software like Xero.
The results are packaged into a simple, intuitive SaaS tool and accompanying API that makes it simple and affordable for companies to integrate emission insights into their decision making.
With an ever-increasing pool of customers, Ditch Carbon are building the world’s most complete dataset of carbon emissions on the planet.
Marc’s on our wavelength. He’s entrepreneurial and thinks lean. He wants to work on meaningful projects with real impact. We helped him quickly develop a launch brand and accompanying website for Ditch Carbon.
As an early-stage venture, it was important to balance quality with flexibility and give the brand room to evolve as the business explores product-market fit. There’s little value in over-optimising on branding and UX too early in a new venture’s lifespan.
Today we still act in an advisory capacity as Ditch Carbon continues to gain greater market traction.
